Job vacancy: Research Fellow in Health Economics

The ACT Consortium is seeking an enthusiastic Research Fellow to join the Health Economics and Systems Analysis Group (HESA) of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
The primary role for this post will be to conduct research on modelling the cost effectiveness of rapid diagnostic tests for malaria (mRDTs).
The role of the candidate will be to develop a cost-effectiveness model of mRDT introduction in the public and private sector, incorporating recent developments in understanding and data availability.
The post holder will be involved in reviewing existing cost-effectiveness models, developing the structure of the new model, and parameterising it using data from published and unpublished literature. They will generate and interpret results from the model, and draft a manuscript on the results.
The successful applicant will have a Masters degree in health economics or a related discipline, skills in cost-effectiveness analysis and decision tree modelling, and the ability to write to a high standard in English, to work independently and meet to tight deadlines.
